For a quick day hike, we traveled to Bukidnon to explore and visit Matigol Falls. It was a DIY hike, and I was accompanied by my friends Rech, Esel, Bern, and Zem.

There are numerous events unfolding in my life currently, and taking a moment to pause and go for a hike is essential for my mental well-being. Barry, my partner, couldn't join us on the hike; he isn't physically ready and has a lot happening at work. He's been lacking sleep and chose to rest in bed.

On Sunday morning, we packed our things and drove to Bukidnon.

Along the trail, I met this grandma—forgot her name—her energy is unbelievable, and she brings so much light and motivation to us. This trip is so special.

I also took some snaps during the journey, just some beautiful flowers and friendly animals. I don't know, but when I stare at their pictures, it feels like they are longing for some love, and I hope they have a wonderful life in the mountains away from the toxicity of the city.

We've had beautiful shots with the Matigol Falls itself; we are at station 1, and the view is breathtaking.

There are some stories that some lives have been lost in this place. Matigol Falls can sometimes be dangerous when the current of the water is strong, and there is a real tendency for the water to rise. It is not advisable to hike during rainy days.

Also, Devin is in Dubai. He is a member of our group, and since he can't join us, we brought his picture throughout the journey. LOL
