Visiting Cebu feels like going to a mall, a place I'm very familiar with, though I can't recall how many times I've been there. This time, I'll be going with my closest friends from high school; in fact, most of my high school friends are among my closest, and I'm part of most of our classroom groups.

Of course Barry will be joining us, he has already been friends with them as well. So this trip, I am with Barry, Devin, Esel, Rechard, and AL.

Accommodation:

We settled in Bantayan Huts for its cheap price, and as long as we can guarantee the safety of our bags, it is all we need. Our itinerary always involves going out to explore, so we don't need an expensive place to stay.

Day 1: Bantayan Tour

After settling in, our first destination is OMAGIECA Oboob Mangrove Garden. Elevated boardwalks cut through a mangrove forest with sea views & the chance to feed fish.

It is my second time on Bantayan Island, and it feels like a safe haven. It is a small island, and we can definitely visit all the places in one day. It is a blessing to have friends since high school; the bond we have is pure.

Day 2: Virgin Island Tour

We woke up early for our Virgin Island tour. It is a separate island in Bantayan, and the sunset there is amazing too. We were lucky to have good weather, and it was just a chill day for us.

It is actually my first time in the Virgin Islands, and it is definitely one of the best destinations in Bantayan.

Although there was one challenge I faced during this time, I dipped my new camera, Insta360, and I was confident that it was all good since it is water-resistant. The bad news is, it got damaged. I used a third-party battery and, to my surprise, it didn't fit well, and I just realized it after I dipped it. What a bummer! It has only been a month since I bought it. So, I wasn't able to use it for the entire trip. The good news is, the sunset is so healing.

Night Life

It's not about music and disco; it's about a great night with chill music and pizza!

Day 3: Capitol Cebu

We traveled back to Cebu proper and stayed at our next accommodation. We just spent the day relaxing and went to Cebu IT Park.

Day 4: Cebu Canyoneering + Kawasan Falls

Of course, we went to Cebu Canyoneering. Although it was my second time there, I was still excited and I just love the adventure. However, there has been one major change since the first time I was there. The water level is lower, resulting in some cliffs not being suitable for jumping anymore. We still enjoyed the adventure anyhow.
